In any industry people tend to gravitate towards the good. We want to associate with positive people, promote unique design, and relate to whatever gives off the best and most comforting vibes. Drift-ia was founded with the intent of integrating interiors with architecture in the most seamless way, creating a soulful, and organic space that emanates the vibes that represent how we want to live our lives.
This is different for each person and project. My goal is to provide flexibility in how I curate the design process, and cater specifically to each project and client directly with the promise that the final outcome is a space that is beautiful, functional, and deeply personal, as a reflection of the soul of the inhabitants.
My name is Jen.
A graduate of Syracuse University, Jen moved to NYC and worked in Architecture and Interiors for 6+ years. She has spent a significant amount of her career bridging the gap between interior design and architectural core and shell to create a holistic design approach. With 11+ years of multifamily and high end residential architectural and interiors experience, her passion and skill sets lend her to be very strong at space planning and creating and designing spaces intentionally that are fluid and dynamic.
As a licensed architect in the State of Washington, and a member of IIDA, she has extensive experience in single family home luxury interior design and multi family project interior designs, and has designed and managed various scales of hospitality work. She founded the interior design departments at her previous architectural firm, and has been the design manager for a local luxury home builder, providing custom designs for high end homes in the Seattle area.
With a strong background and education in both interior design and architecture, she offers a unique version of project understanding which becomes the pathway to a cohesive project. She excels at providing a clear, rational understanding of architecture while simultaneously integrating material qualities, finishes, and furnishings within the overall design dialog so that each exist in harmony with the others.
Jen has a strong understanding of the real estate market, and can help develop ideas and design potential for home buyers or existing home owners. Acknowledging that the market is volatile and it is hard to decide whether to stay and remodel, or sell and buy and update, Jen can work directly with your realtor to help you come up with the best solution for you and your family!

“Working with Jen at Drift has been an amazing experience. We hired her to help us design a home in Eastern Washington and she was able to take all my miscellaneous (rough) sketches and make them come to life. She was patient through several iterations for the elevations and had great suggestions along the way. I would highly recommend Drift for your next project.

"We loved working with Jen at drift! She was super responsive and eager to help share her ideas. Our budget started off low which she worked with, and when we decided to expand our scope she graciously worked with us to stay within budget but also get us the home we wanted!"

“Jennifer designed my house and was very responsive to my requests. She also explained why certain colors or materials would be better. Everyone who sees my house says it is their favorite house they have ever seen! All due to Jennifer and her design and skills with putting it together.”
