For larger (or smaller) mixed use or commercial projects, Drift IA works to collaborate with developers, architects, and marketing consultants to create a strategy and design concept that leads to a project kickoff and clear team direction. With Jen's strong architectural background she is able to provide extensive collaboration with the architectural, engineering and construction team. Using sketches, 3D images and BIM drawings, we will present design concepts and articulate critical information to the design team for review. 

Drift IA has extensive experience producing complete interior documentation for large scale residential and multifamily/hospitality projects. We can design and articulate through documentation the appropriate means for construction and the best ways to achieve a design intent agreed upon as a team. We will work closely with all consultants, and within city jurisdictions to provide the documentation and construction administration to get your project complete. We can also assist with contractor interviews, or recommend vendors we have worked with in the past.  We understand how important it is on every project to get things right the first time, so we are proactive in our site visits, submittal review, and requests for information. We can also provide consulting for furnishing selections with a 3rd party vendor, or can provide selections for owner purchased items.

Drift-IA has experience in a variety of hospitality projects. We have a portfolio of Markets and Cafes, Restaurants and Bars and would love to share our experience with you! We are currently working directly with a highly valued restaurant consultant for hospitality specific projects, and have also been involved in the space planning and design of a hotel, as well as bars and restaurants. Hospitality requires a different set of experiences and industry knwledge, and we would love to share our ideas with you! Our partners who work directly with us have vast experience in restaurant and hotel design, and we will bring a very well rounded team to any project you have in your pipeline!

We take construction administration and schedules very seriously. In this market with changes every day to pricing and supply chain, construction administration is even more important. Drift IA will engage the architect and contractor to ensure adequate lead times are followed and encourage preconstruction meetings with trades to promote implementation of the design intent. We will also work with the team to overcome any hurdles related to supply chain and availability, and price increases. We have extensive experience in budget control and value engineering a project to keep the design intent but make things cost effective.
